UPDATE: Kathu Police put up notices to warn pedestrians from crossing Patong Hill

Patong, Phuket –

The Kathu Police has put up notices on the Patong Hill to forbid pedestrians from crossing the hill.

Our previous stories:

Motorists who are heading from Kathu to the Patong Hill reported the damage at 3:30 P.M. yesterday (October 19th). On one side of the road, the land started to slide which has brought down the road side surface and the guard rail.

The road is being blocked which is extending from the Si Kor Intersection in Kathu to the Suwan Khiri Wong temple in Patong.

Now the update:

The Kathu Police has put notices up at the dangerous area, “People are forbidden to walk through Patong Hill.”

Meanwhile, the Patong Municipality has announced the area is 100 percent closed. No vehicles or pedestrians are allowed to pass.
