Armed suspect robs convenience store for 900 baht in Phuket Town

Phuket –

A suspect robbed and got 900 baht from a convenience store in Phuket Town.

The Phuket City Police was notified of the incident this morning (October 19th) at 10:30 A.M. at a convenience store on the Chao Fa East Road in Talad Nuea sub-district in Mueang Phuket district. Police arrived at the scene to find a distraught female staffer, whose name was withheld at her request.

She told police that a male Thai suspect used an item similar to a gun to point at her before taking 900 baht from the cash drawer and speeding away on a motorbike.

Police are checking CCTV nearby and hunting for the suspect.
