The 28th Laguna Phuket Triathlon will be held next month with athletes from 38 countries set to join.
The triathlon will consist of swimming in the sea and lagoons for a distance of 1.8 kilometers, cycling up and down hills for 50 kilometers, and running on local roads for 12 kilometers and more.
Ms. Prapa Hemmin, from the Laguna Resort and Hotel Company, told local media, “Laguna Phuket Triathlon is a very famous sports event among world athletes. This is a sporting event that helps to promote Phuket to the world. Many people are waiting to join this event.”
