Phuket Governor orders strict measurements to prevent severe incidents at educational places

Phuket –

The Phuket Governor Naroong Woonciew has ordered strict measurements in order to prevent severe incidents inside educational places.

The meeting held this morning (October 7th) at the Phuket Provincial Hall came after more than 30 people, including children, were reportedly killed in a mass shooting at a childcare center in the Uthai Sawan district of Nong Bua Lamphu province on Thursday afternoon, October 6th.

Relevant officers who joined in the meeting stood still for one minute for a moment of silence to remember the lost.

Governor Narong told The Phuket Express, “We should have strict measurements especially for illegal drug suppression to prevent any similar incidents. If any government officers are involved with illegal drugs, they must face legal action. Firearms possession must be strictly checked too. For illegal drugs reporting please call the hotline at 1567.”
