Phuket to hold Spartan Race Championship

At least 5,000 Thais and foreigners will join in the Spartan APAC Championship 2022 which will be held in Phuket in November this year.

The Phuket Vice Govenor Pichet Panapong told the Phuket Express, “The Spartan race is a series of obstacle races which will be held from November 26th to November 27th, 2022 at Blue Tree Phuket in Thalang. We are expecting at least 5,000 racers with 20,000 followers will join in the event.”

The Four types of the Spartan race are:

  1. ‘Super’ with 10 Kilometers (25 obstacles)
  2. ‘Sprint’ with 5 Kilometers (20 obstacles)
  3. ‘Spartan Kids’ with 3 kilometers maximum
  4. ‘Hurricane Heat’ in team races

There will be six zones in the event which are:

  1. Spartan Welcome Hospitality
  2. Spartan Race Pack Collection
  3. Spartan Expo & Oasis Café
  4. Amazing Thailand Spartan “Beat on the Beach” Festival
  5. Spartan Premium Lounge
  6. Spartan Obstacle Festival

On November 26th at night will be concerts featured with Thai and international singers and bands.
