Phuket Marine office warns boats going into the sea due to recent storms

Phuket –

The Phuket Marine Office has made an announcement for boats going into the sea due to strong winds and waves which is in effect until October 1st.

The announcement was issued by the Phuket Marine Office Chief Mr. Nachapong Pranit. The announcement states, “The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) reports possible heavy to very heavy rains in most parts of Thailand until October 1st due to the tropical storm NORU.”

“Strong winds and waves in the Andaman Sea is more than two meters high. Boats should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore until October 1st.”
