Phuket and Andaman provinces are candidates to host the 33rd SEA Games in the next three years (2025).
The Committee on Sports visited Phuket earlier this week after Phuket and Andaman provinces were chosen as candidates to host the 33rd SEA Games
The Committee on Sports is suggesting to choose sports stadiums that have 20,000 plus seats for spectators. Phuket is suggesting Surakul Stadium in Phuket Town.
The Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew told the Phuket Express, “If Phuket and Andaman provinces were chosen to host the 33rd SEA Games, this will be a good opportunity to support Phuket to be a ‘Sports City’ as well as to support sports tourism.”
