Phang Nga annual vegetarian festival to start this month

The annual vegetarian festival in Phang Nga will be started this month for nine days.

Staffers are cleaning many Chinese shrines in Phang Nga City to prepare for the annual Phang Nga Vegetarian Festival which will be held from September 26th to October 4th.

However, a ceremony which is the symbol of the beginning of the festival will be started at 5:00 P.M. on September 25th. Free vegetarian food will be cooked at shrines for people during the nine days festival.

Meanwhile in Phuket the annual vegetarian festival will be will be held from September 26th to October 4th too.
