Driver escapes injuries after crashing into cow in Kathu

Kathu –

An unidentified male driver has escaped injuries after his car collided with a cow in Kathu.

The Kathu Police was notified of the accident at night over this weekend on the Phra Phuket Kaew Road near a gas station.

Police arrived at the scene to find the damaged car on the road. The unidentified male driver, who was not injured, told Kathu police a group of cows was crossing the road. He was unable to stop in time and crashed into one of the bovines, which seemed to be uninjured, and walked off the road with the rest of the herd.

However, the Kathu Police are continuing their investigation to find the cow’s owners as well as check on the health of the animal. It was unclear why the cows were being given apparent free roam over a road.
