42-year-old man arrested with more than 2,000 methamphetamine pills in Phuket

Phuket –

A 42-year-old man has been arrested with more than 2,000 methamphetamine pills in Phuket.

A team from the Phuket Provincial Police this week have arrested Kietnarong ‘Kiet’ Thongsombat, 42. He was arrested at a house in Phuket Town.

Seized from him were 2,016 methamphetamine pills. He is facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell. His plea and statements about the allegations were not made immediately clear and Kiet did not speak to the press.

Meanwhile two men have been arrested with more than 3,000 methamphetamine pills in Phuket.
