Two people arrested with 3,000 methamphetamine pills in Phuket

Phuket –

Two men have been arrested with more than 3,000 methamphetamine pills in Phuket.

A team from the Phuket Provincial Police this week have arrested Danuphon ‘Da’ Nueangdara, 40, and Amornthep ‘ Man’ Plodpai, 29. They were both arrested at a resort on Don Jom Tao Road in Thep Kasattri sub-district in Thalang district.

Seized from them were 3,213 methamphetamine pills. They are both facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell.

It was not immediately clear if the two men had legal representation. They did not release a statement regarding the allegations.
