Phuket City continues to fight against mosquito illnesses like dengue fever

Phuket –

Phuket City continues to fight back against mosquito carried illnesses including dengue fever.

This week the Public Health and Environmental Division of the Phuket City Municipality rolled out its campaign to contain the spread of dengue fever in the Talad Yai sub-district.

Fogging to help prevent disease-bearing mosquitoes from breeding has been conducted across Phuket City. Widespread fogging was carried at housing estates and communities in the area.

Phuket city Public Health officials have warned the public to remove stagnant water sources and regularly spray for mosquitoes at their private residences.
