Wichit –
 Police are hunting for a suspect who robbed a convenience store in Wichit twice in three hours.
The Wichit Police was notified of the incident early this morning (September 12th) at 1:40 A.M. at a convenience store on Sakdidet – Ao Makham Road in the Wichit sub-district, Mueang Phuket district.
Wichit Police told the Phuket Express that they arrived at the scene and checked CCTV footage after staffers told police that a suspect used a knife to force a female staffer to take out money from a cash machine, for a total of 654 Baht. The suspect put the knife on the counter while collecting money.
Another male staffer showed up before taking the suspect’s knife. The suspect and the male staff member began a physical confrontation. The suspect took some money before speeding away. Police seized a knife and a clump of the suspect’s hair.
At 4:30 A.M. the same suspect, seemingly undeterred after the earlier confrontation, came back to the convenience store before robbing the teller with a knife again and speeding away with 500 baht.
Police tracked down the suspect and they found that the suspect’s house is 400 meters from the convenience store. They are hunting for the suspect. The suspect was not identified, however, as law enforcement is still searching for the individual as of press time.
