Driver dies after motorbike crashes into truck in Thalang

Thalang –

  A driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after his motorbike crashed into a truck in the Thalang district.

The Thalang Police was notified of the accident this morning (September 12th) on the Thep Kasattri Road in Sri Soonthorn sub-district.

Emergency responders and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike on the road. Nearby, rescue staff found the body of an unidentified male driver with severe head injuries bleeding heavily near a broken helmet.

A red truck was found on the roadside. The driver, Mr. Nantaworasak Damda, 37, told local media, “The motorbike was avoiding another vehicle before losing control and crashing into my truck. He was then, unfortunately, run over.”

Police are continuing their investigation for further possible legal action.
