Phuket couple arrested with 1,300 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 45,000 methamphetamine pills

A couple has been arrested with more than 1,300 grams of crystal methamphetamine and more than 45,000 methamphetamine pills in Rassada.

A team from the Phuket Provincial Police today (September 8th) have arrested Mr. Top, 33 and Ms. Ket, 31. Their last names were not provided. They were both arrested at a housing estate in the Rassada sub-district, Mueang Phuket district.

Seized from them were 1,367.26 grams of crystal methamphetamine,45,695 methamphetamine pills, a handmade handgun, and 55 bullets.

They are both facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell. Mr. Top is facing additional charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
