Wichit –
A house caught fire in Wichit yesterday, August 29th, alarming residents but no injuries were reported.
Firefighters were notified of the fire in the late afternoon at a house in a housing estate in the Wichit sub-district, Mueang Phuket district.
They arrived at the house in Soi Mueang Thong 5 to find smoke coming out from the house. The fire has been under control after residents helped to put out the fire before firefighters have arrived.
A shelf in the living room had been damaged by the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
