Young driver dies after motorbike crash in Thalang

Thalang –

A young driver died after a motorbike crash in Thalang yesterday morning (August 20th).

The Thalang Police was notified of the accident at 5:30 A.M. on Thep Kasattri Road northbound in the Paklok sub-district 300 meters near the Tha Ruea Shrine.

Police, emergency responders, and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike on the side of the road. Nearby rescue staff found the body of Mr. Nithikorn Jansakun, 22, from Paklok. He had suffered severe head injuries. His body was taken to local hospital.

No witnesses were found at the scene. At this stage, Thalang police believe that the driver lost control of his vehicle before crashing into the footpath and the power pole. He was not wearing a motorcycle helmet.
