  A fire evacuation drill was held at Illuzion nightclub on Bangla Road in Patong this afternoon (August 18th).

A meeting was held last week at the Patong Municipality led by the Patong Mayor Chalermsak Maneesri and the Kathu District Chief Siwat Rawangkun.

The drill came after a fire at a bar on Bangla Road in Patong alarmed tourists in the middle of August 11th.

The drill was launched by Phuket Vice Governor Arnuparp Rodkwan Yodrabam. A fire evacuation drill was held at Illuzion nightclub on Bangla Road in Patong this afternoon (August 18th) where lots of people joined in the drill. There were ten people acting as injured people in the incident. Firefighters put out “the fire” which was just a mock drill.
