Thousands of tourists and Thai Tourism Minister joins the Full Moon Party on Pha -Ngan Island in Surat Thani

  Thousands of tourists joined in the Full Moon Party on Pha -Ngan Island in Surat Thani and the Minister of Tourism and Sports even visited the party.

More than 10,000 Thai and foreign tourists joined the Full Moon Party Friday night (August 12th). Tourists were travelling from Baan Bang Rak Pier in Bor Pud sub-district, Koh Samui district to the Full Moon Party all night. Marine officials inspected the pier to ensure safety and prevent any over-fee pricing for speed boats.

The Minister of Tourism and Sports Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn and relevant Surat Thani tourism officials visited and welcomed tourists in the Full Moon Party.

Mr. Sumet Meepat, a speed boat operator, told TPN, “More tourists are coming to the Full Moon Party after the country reopening. We have agreed on a proposal for an opening hours extension of entertainment venues until 4:00 AM. which can support the economy and generate more income.”
