Entertainment venues fire drill to be held on Bangla Road

Phuket –

An entertainment venue fire evacuation drill will be held at Illuzion night club on Bangla Road in Patong.

A meeting was held this week at the Patong Municipality led by the Patong Mayor Chalermsak Maneesri and the Kathu District Chief Siwat Rawangkun.

Patong Mayor Chalermsak told the Phuket Express, “The fire drill is aimed to ensure fire safety and to be ready if any fire incident happens in entertainment venues or on Bangla Road.

“The fire evacuation drill will be held at Illuzion night club on Bangla Road in Patong on August 18th from 1:00 P.M. onward.”

Meanwhile a fire at a bar on Bangla Road in Patong alarmed tourists in the middle of yesterday August 11th.

Also,

A team of Kathu officials and Patong Police inspected entertainment venues on Bangla Road. They checked fire safety measures such as fire extinguishers, fire exits, signs, and fire prevention systems inside venues.
