Alleged drug dealer arrested with 1,779 methamphetamine pills and gun in Phuket

Phuket –

  An alleged drug dealer has been arrested with 1,779 methamphetamine pills and a handgun in Phuket.

The Phuket Provincial Police arrested Mr. Weeradet ‘Gat’ Gerdmonkol, 36, at a condominium in the Wichit sub-district, Mueang Phuket district this week.

Seized from him were 30.01 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 1,779 methamphetamine pills, and a handgun with 15 bullets.

He is facing charges of having category 1 drugs with intent to sell, illegal possession of a firearm, and carrying a gun in public without a permit.

Gat did not immediately release a statement to the media regarding the charges and allegations.
