Phuket Marine Office warns boats going into sea

Phuket –

The Phuket Marine Office has made an announcement this morning (August 2nd) for boats going into the sea due to strong winds and waves which is in effect until August 7th.

The announcement was issued by the Phuket Marine Office Chief Mr. Nachapong Pranit. The announcement states, “Strong winds and waves in the Andaman Sea is more than three meters high. Boats should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore until August 7th, 2022.”

“Please keep closely updated with the weather forecast from the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) or hotline 1182.”
