Heavy rains cause flooding in Phuket during rush hours as rainy weather continues

Phuket –

Heavy rain in Phuket since this morning (August 2nd) caused flooding in Phuket repetitious flood areas.

The rain hit since this morning and continued all day. Repetitious flood areas in Phuket City are at the Srisutas – Amphur intersection heading to Koh Sirey and the Samkong area.

Traffic police and law enforcement officers assisted in directing motorists with the traffic.

Yesterday (August 1st) many roads in Phuket and in the Phuket Town area have suffered from flooding after heavy rain occurred across Phuket since morning (August 1st).

Meanwhile last month the Phuket City Municipality has, according to them, solved three repetitious flood areas in Phuket City.
