The Thai Meteorological Department today, July 20th, warns of isolated heavy to very heavy rain in most parts of the country between July 20th and the 24th.
The monsoon trough will lie across the North, the Northeast, and the upper Central into a low-pressure cell over the middle coast of Vietnam while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, resulting in more rains likely across the whole country.
Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East, and the South regions throughout the week.

North: Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Tak, and Phetchabun
Northeast: Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani

The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. The waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up could reach about 2 meters, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf, and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
The Department also warns people to beware of severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower.
