Storm knocks down trees and power poles in Kamala

Strong winds and heavy rains brought down trees and power poles in Kamala, Phuket yesterday morning (July 12th).

In Baan Naka, Kamala trees and power poles had been brought down by substantial winds yesterday morning before landing and damaging houses, a restaurant and several vehicles. However, no injuries were reported.

A team of staffers from the Kamala Tambol Administrative Organisation (OrBorTor) went to the scene to cut and remove trees from the area, the exact estimate of financial damages were not given by relevant authorities.

Strong wind, waves, and heavy rain will continue in Phuket and Andaman provinces from July 9th to July 14th, 2022.
