A sea turtle was found dead at a beach in Thalang with plastic in its mouth.

Lifeguards who were patrolling on Maikhao Beach in the Maikhao sub-district in the Thalang district found a dead sea turtle on the beach this morning (July 11th).

Plastic was found coming out from the dead sea turtle’s mouth.

The dead sea turtle was taken to the Phuket Marine Biological Center in Cape Panwa, Wichit sub-district, Mueang Phuket district for an autopsy.
