Phuket Marine Department continues to warn against boats going into the sea due to bad weather

Phuket –

  The Phuket Marine Office has made an announcement today (July 5th) warning small boats to not enter the sea due to strong winds and waves which is in effect until tomorrow (July 6th).

The announcement was made by the Phuket Marine Office Chief Mr. Nachapong Pranit. The announcement states, “Strong winds and waves in the Andaman Sea is up to three meters high. Boats should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore until July 6th, 2022.”

“Please keep closely updated with the weather forecast from the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) or hotline 1182.” Nachapong concluded.
