Suspect slashes tires of another vehicle that parked too close to him in Patong, gets a thousand baht fine

Patong –

One thousand baht was fined to responsible parties after a conflict over parking in Patong this week.

The Patong Police reported on June 21st that a victim filed a police report after parking a car in front of a restaurant in Patong before going inside for dinner. After they finished dinner and came out the victim found that their car tires were slashed and flattened.

Police continued their investigation and identified the primary suspect. The suspect admitted to the crime because they were disappointed that the victim parked their car too close to the suspect’s car. The suspect was afraid that their car might be scratched and lost their temper, slashing the tires of the other vehicle.

However, the victim does not want to take legal action against the suspect. The suspect agreed to pay for the tire damages and was fined 1,000 baht for causing nuisance. Both parties shook hands after the disagreement and put aside their differences.

Law enforcement did not release the names of the individuals involved.
