Phuket airport holds indoor fire drill

Phuket –

The Phuket International Airport held a fire drill at an indoor parking area yesterday (June 21st).

The fire drill was held yesterday at 2:00 P.M. at an indoor parking lot on the fifth floor of the airport. The fire drill had been announced before the drill started and nearby customers and employees warned it was only a drill.

The Deputy Director of the Phuket International Airport Mr. Manas Sotharat told the Phuket Express, “The drill is aimed to prepare if any real situation happened. The drill is being held at least once a year. Many staffers from companies in the airport joined in the fire drill.”

According to Mr. Manas, the drill went well and no major issues were discovered.
