41-year-old wanted suspect arrested in Wichit, Phuket for alleged fraud

Wichit, Phuket-

  A 41-year-old man who had been wanted by the Phuket Provincial Court was arrested yesterday in the Wichit sub-district, Mueang Phuket District, for alleged fraud.

The Wichit Police told the Phuket Express that they arrested Mr. Kittisak (no last name released to the press), 41 yesterday (June 9th) at 6:00 P.M.

Kittisak, according to Wichit Police, was a wanted suspect in an arrest warrant which was issued by the Phuket Provincial Court on May 30th, 2022.

Kittisak is being accused of dishonestly deceiving a person and importing forged computer data, either in whole or in part, or false computer data, in a manner that causes damage to others.

Mr. Kittisak allegedly defrauded clients about glass installation involved as part of his regular work. He was taken to the Wichit Police Station for further legal action. However, as of press time the Wichit Police had not released more details about his alleged fraud or potential victim(s).

Mr. Kittisak did not release a statement to the media and it was unknown if he had acquired legal assistance.
