UPDATE: Police warn of major traffic delays due to the Darasamut underpass temporarily closed for 10 days

Wichit, Phuket-

The Wichit Police has warned of significant traffic delays near the Darasamut Underpass in the Mueang Phuket district as an underpass was temporarily closed for 24-hours a day for ten days.

Our previous story:

The Darasamut Underpass will be temporarily closed twenty-four hours a day for ten days to traffic for improvement from Tuesday (June 7th) to Friday (June 17th), 2022.

Now for our update:

The Wichit Police has warned the public of traffic delays at 4:30 P.M. today (June 8th) which is the second day of the temporary closing of the Darasamut Underpass in Wichit sub-district.

Road users should plan before journeying near the underpass. Motorists can use the Chalerm Phrakiet Rama 9 Road (Bypass Road) and the Chao Fa Tawan Ok Road instead.
