Thief on motorbike allegedly snatches gold necklace worth more than 30,000 baht from motorbike passenger in Phuket Town – CCTV FOOTAGE

Phuket –

A male thief who was riding on a motorbike allegedly snatched a gold necklace worth more than 30,000 baht from a motorbike passenger in Phuket Town.

On Monday, (May 30th) Mr. Wutichai Timkaew, 33, filed a report to the Phuket City Police.

Wutichai told police, “On Sunday, May 29th, at 4:50 P.M. I was driving a motorbike with my girlfriend. When we were passing the Tha Kreang Intersection in the Talad Nuea sub-district, a suspect on a green motorbike snatched a gold necklace worth more than 30,000 baht from my girlfriend’s neck before speeding away.”

“The suspect was wearing a full motorbike helmet. I cannot remember the full motorbike number plate. It is likely to be ‘784’. We chased after the suspect but failed.” Wutichai explained to The Phuket Express.

The Phuket City Police told The Phuket Express they are hunting for the suspect.
