Update: 76-year-old German tourist who spent a week missing in a national park, is flying back with her family from Phuket to Germany

Phuket –

A 76-year-old German tourist who spent over a week missing in Sirinat National Park, which was about 15 kilometers away from her hotel in the Mai Khao sub-district, is flying back from Phuket to Germany.

On May 23rd, Ms. Barbara Lange, 76, was released from the hospital.

Our updated story:

Today (May 25th) a team from the Phuket Tourist Assistance Center (TAC) assisted Ms. Lange and her family at the Phuket International Airport as they are flying back to Germany.

Ms. Lange and her family thanked everyone involved that have helped them until they are back home.

Ms. Lange is in good health and spirits and happy to be returning back to Germany.
