Phuket introduces island’s largest leisure and entertainment destination “Andamanda Phuket” yesterday

Phuket –

“Andamanda Phuket” Waterpark official launched its opening on Saturday, May 21st, as the island’s largest leisure and entertainment destination.

Located in the Kathu district, this latest tourist attraction is ready to welcome tourists, both Thais and foreigners, to explore the fun and the unique hidden treasure of the Andaman Sea and Thai mythology under the concept of “Thai Legend Meets Fantasy”.

The amusement park highlights 10,000 square meters of the artificial sea that can produce three-meter waves, perfect for all-year surfing. It comes with an artificial sandy beach that is over 300 meters long, featuring a 23-meter-high Khao Tapu model.

Thailand’s newest and longest water slide is also located at the Andamanda Phuket, featuring 12 sets of thrilling slides and 5,300 square meters of children’s areas. Over 200 lifeguards were trained under the course Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTPTM) – the USA’s world-class water safety and rescue accreditation institute.

Proudputh “Prou” Liptapanlop, Executive Director of the Proud Group, said at the opening ceremony that Andamanda Phuket will be a new attraction that is not only a waterpark but will also be the largest center for “Integrated Entertainment and Resort Destinations” in Thailand.

“[The Andamanda Phuket] aims to be a world-class tourist destination that Phuket residents and Thai people are proud to welcome both Thai and foreign tourists from all over the world. It will also help bring confidence back to Thailand’s tourism economy as a world-class water park in one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations,” the Executive Director stated.

The soft opening begins today, May 22nd. Pre-booking customers online will get promotion tickets of 850 baht (normally 1,500 baht) for adults and 550 baht (normally 1,000 baht) for children and seniors. Free admission for children under 90 centimeters.
