Phuket ‘Aqua Lumina’ event being held in Rawai to boost tourism – PHOTO TOUR

  The ‘Aqua Lumina’, the “wonderful fluorescent under the Andaman Sea” (Organizer’s catchphrase) event is being held in Rawai, Phuket until the end of this month.

A press conference was held earlier this month at Central World in Bangkok and was led by the Minister of Tourism and Sports Phiphat Ratchakitprakar, Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew, and other relevant officials.

Updated story:

The event was officially launched Friday (May 20th) at Nai Harn Beach in Rawai and was led by Phuket Vice Governor Pichet Panaphong and the deputy minister of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) Mr. Nithee Seepare.

Vice Governor Pichet said, “In the past two years, the Covid -19 pandemic has severely damaged Phuket’s economy. This is a good time to boost Phuket tourism and the economy after Covid – 19 has been relieved. We are seeing smiling faces from local business operators, local residents, and tourists. The event is being held until May 31st, 2022.”
