Unidentified foreign driver escapes injuries after crashing SUV into a tree in Thalang, Phuket

Thalang, Phuket –

  An unidentified foreign driver has escaped injuries after his SUV crashed into a tree, later catching fire in the Thalang district.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 8:45 A.M. this morning (May 19th) on Thep Kasattri Road near Sai Kaew Beach in Mai Khao sub-district.

The rescue teams arrived at the scene to find a burnt black SUV plunged into a tree. Rescue workers quickly put out the fire.

The unidentified male foreign driver had reportedly escaped from the SUV before it caught fire. He was not injured.

At this time, Thalang police will not be pressing any charges, according to the police report.
