The Mu-Ko Similan National Park in Kuraburi district in Phang Nga, is to be temporarily closed to tourism.

The Mu-Ko Similan National Park has announced their annual closure from May 16th to October 14th as part of the beginning of monsoon season and for environmental restoration.

Meanwhile the Mu-Ko Surin National Park in Kuraburi district, Phang Nga is to be temporarily closed to tourism.

Several islands in the area of Mu-Ko Lanta National Park in Krabi are to be closed for tourism temporarily for varied periods of time to allow the environment to recover.
