26th Phuket Bike Week to be held from May 13th to May 15th

Phuket Bike Week 26 is going to be held from May 13th to May 15th, 2022 in the Thalang district!

The press conference was held Friday (May 6th) at the Phuket City Hall led by the Phuket Vice Governor Pichet Panapong.

Vice Governor Pichet told The Phuket Express, “PHUKET BIKE WEEK 2022 this year is under the concept ‘New Normal Ride Together’. The event is going to be held at The Play Yard Phuket in the Mai Khao sub-district.”

“The event is aimed to boost Phuket tourism by presenting special traditional and beautiful beaches and the sea in Phuket as well as to help support the local economy and communities. ”

“There will be many activities such as Miss Phuket Bike Week Contest, Motorcycle Contest, American Car Show, Marine Sports activities, and concerts from Thai singers and bands. The event will be under Covid -19 measurements.”

“The No.1 Phuket Bike Week Official Convey Ride will be on Saturday, May 14th from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., a departure from the Phuket Check Point to the Play Yard Mai Khao which will be in total 12 kilometers and about 30 minutes.”

“The No.2 Phuket Bike Week Official Convey Ride will be on Sunday, May 15th from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., a departure from the Play Yard in Mai Khao to Chalong Pier and the Promthep Cape in Rawai which will be 60 kilometers and about one and a half hours.”

“We are expecting about 2,000 motorbikes with 20,000 Thais and foreigners to join in the Phuket Bike Week and will generate at least 200,000,000 baht.”
