Driver taken to hospital for alcohol test after crashing his pickup truck into a power pole in Phuket Town

A driver who was not injured was taken to a hospital for an alcohol blood test after he crashed his pickup truck into a power pole in Phuket Town after midnight today (April 26th).

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 0:25 A.M. on Thepkasattri Road in Talad Yai sub-district, Phuket Town.

The Thep 01 Kusoldharm volunteer rescue workers arrived at the scene in front of the Phuket Wittayalai School to find a damaged black pickup truck crashed into a power pole on the side of the road.

A male driver and his female passenger were not injured. The Phuket City Police later arrived at the scene. The male driver, whose name was not given by police, was taken to a hospital with police for an alcohol blood test. The investigation will then be continued for further potential legal action.
