Phuket governor warns of imposter fake LINE application account

The Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew has warned people of an imposter with a fake LINE application account.

The Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew has warned of a fake LINE application account in Thai ‘นายณรงค์ วุ่นซิ้ว ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต’ (Mr. Narong Woonciew Phuket Governor) with his official photo and a LINE account QR Code.

Governor Narong told the Phuket Express reporters, “This fake LINE application account is being used to contact people and other government offices for scams. Please, do not scan the QR code. For more information please contact 084-1914151.”

The Phuket Express notes this has also happened to the Chonburi governor, as seen below:
