UPDATE – Missing Iranian tourist found dead today in Phangnga after 19-hour search

  An Iranian tourist who went missing during white-water rafting yesterday was found dead after a 19-hour search.

Previous story CLICK HERE TO READ: Yesterday, on March 29th, five foreign tourists and two rowers were white-water rafting when the boat suddenly collided with a big rock, lost balance, and ran into a bridge foundation before overturning. Mr. Bahzad’s leg (the missing) got entangled with a rope that was stuck between the rock crevice. However, once the rowers could pull him free, he was suddenly washed away again by a strong current and went missing.

UPDATE: Around 10.00 a.m. today, March 30th, Mr. Bahzad Alireza Mogmadoamyar, an Iranian 42-year-old, was found dead in the river after almost 19 hours of searching. According to reports, his body was stuck between rocks and branches, wearing only red shorts. The officers had moved his body to Phangnga Hospital to proceed with a further autopsy.
