Total of five drug suspects arrested with 1.5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 1,500 pills in Phuket

  In total, five drug suspects have been arrested with 1.5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 1,500 pills in Phuket.

The Phuket Provincial Police revealed the arrest to the local press yesterday, March 22nd, 2022. This week they have arrested five drug suspects in three different drug cases.

Mr. Puttinart ‘Fah’ Wareesri, 38, from Phan Nga, and Jetpinit ‘Wat’ Sarasom, 34, from Phuket were arrested on the side of Bypass Road in Phuket City. Seized from them at a hotel room in the Rassada subdistrict were 1,522.25 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

Ms. Thitaree ‘Kae’ Chuasuwan, 44 from Chonburi, and Mr. Amnouy ‘Nuay’ Sangjan, 41 from Phuket were arrested on a road in Phuket Town.

Seized from them were 97.46 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 1,501 methamphetamine pills.

Mr. Kosin ‘Nui’ Deebookkam, 37, from Phuket, was arrested at a community center in Phuket Town. Sized from him were 22.42 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

They were taken to the Phuket City Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
