Israeli Tourist Injured after Minivan Overturns in Thalang, Minivan Driver Blames Wet Road

An Israeli tourist has sustained injuries after a minivan overturned near an underpass in the Thep Krasattri sub-district.

The Thalang Police were notified of the accident at noon on Thursday (June 20th) on the Thep Krasattri Road northbound near the entrance of the Underpass at the Phuket Airport Intersection.

Emergency responders and The Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the minivan that had overturned onto its side.

MISS ROWAN, 28, an Israeli national, had sustained minor injuries in the accident. The driver, Mr. Ongart Thongjam, blamed the slippery road for the mishap before losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a pole and overturning.

The accident was still review by Kathu police as of press time.
